Had Atkins in to convert our garage into a nail salon for my wife's business. Fantastic service from all the lads at Atkins, luke (project manager) was fantastic, friendly and kept us informed of progress all through the works. Would wholeheartedly recommend Atkins and all the guys there. 5*service????

We recently moved into a new house. We wanted to remove a wall between the kitchen and the dining room, and widen an archway between the dining room and the living room. Luke (the project manager) and Marcus did a fantastic job in removing the wall, installing a new RSJ, moving a radiator, installing fireproofing and plasterboards, replacing coving, and making good. Martin's joinery skills were particularly impressive with him replacing some tricky skirting boards, as well as installing four new doors downstairs. All in all, a great job performed by a great team. We would gladly recommend Luke to anybody looking to undertake building projects in their home.

Would never use them again. Liuke was very amiable but the company clearly don't have the resources to carry out the work they undertake. A new garden wall topped with fence panels took 9 months, multiple visits and rework. Pillars still aren't vertical. All their boss is interested in is payment before work starts and after every visit.

Atkin Home Improvement's and in particular Luke (project manager) and Martin did a fantastic job converting our garage to extend our study and create an extra snug room for the family. After COVID we have become homeworkers and this extra space was needed. We found the guys to be very reliable and finished work to a high standard - they are both perfectionists which is something we really valued. Above all they were really good with listening to what we needed and suggested ways to help us achieve that. Thanks to the team

Our builders totally abandoned us towards the end of building our small one-storey extension. The most urgent thing we needed was to install the new kitchen that was ordered over eight months before, especially as the original builders had already removed some of our old units. At that time, many installers were booked up for months. That was when we contacted Atkins Home Improvements. They said they were also very busy, but would try to fit us in. Their quote was also very reasonable compared to the other estimates we had received. They came when they said and did a high-quality job. Not just on the units, but also extra work to tidy up the wall and ceiling where a canopy was taken down. Throughout, they were professional, cheerful and willing to please. We then asked them to complete rest of the internal work the original builders had not done. At this point they were even busier, but they did everything they could to progress the work. This time round there were a couple of bumps along the way, but once this was understood they more than made up for it, and turned it round into a really excellent result. A month after they had finished we noticed a little thing that had been missed, and they cheerfully came and put it right. People who visit us are impressed with how it all looks. We are very pleased that we chose Atkins to complete the work, and would highly recommend them. We are especially grateful to Callum for overseeing both phases of this work through to completion.
